The Yanichka

The Yanichka is a 2018 Ed Wing Custom walk around 32 footer. She is made of aluminum and boasts a 10' wide aft fish deck with space for fishing off her bow. She has seating for 6 in the spacious heated cabin and a clean head. She also has large windows for viewing from inside the cabin.  She is powered by twin Suzuki outboards to get to the fishing grounds or wildlife viewing fast. She is outfitted with state of the art electronics and radar. She meets all USCG safety requirements and strives for a 5 star safety rating. You will fish with the best rods and reels for the job to land that big one. She does not disappoint. 

Salty Loot

Salty Loot is a 2007 Armstrong Catamaran Landing Craft 34 footer. She is made of aluminum and boasts a 12' wide aft fish deck with space for fishing off her bow. She has seating for 6 in the spacious heated cabin and a clean head. She also has large windows for viewing from inside the cabin.  She is powered by twin Suzuki 350HP outboards to get to the fishing grounds or wildlife viewing fast. She is outfitted with state of the art electronics and radar. She meets all USCG safety requirements and strives for a 5 star safety rating. You will fish with the best rods and reels for the job to land that big one. She does not disappoint.

Deckhand Bub

Deckhand Michael is in his 3rd year as a deckhand and is striving to get his captains license. He is an avid fisherman and has been fishing since he was a boy. His love for boats, fishing and the sea has brought him to Alaska and Blue Ice.

Captain Mike proud Owner/ Operator of Blue Ice Alaska Charters since 2021.

Love for fishing and sharing fishing experience with young and old alike brought him and his family to Alaska. In his spare time Captain Mike spends time with his family and loves to travel.

Captain Bailey has spent the last 3 summers on the cold waters of Alaska, and he gets it done. "Every day I go to my dream job I understand there are a lot of things out of my control such as weather or fish, but I never forget that this is a trip of a lifetime for my clients." He strives to give them their dream trip every day the boat leaves the harbor.

Deckhand Nolan

Deckhand Nolan is a second year deckhand who loves being out on the water. He enjoys meeting new people and sharing unforgettable memories with them. The craziness of Alaska will never knock him down, but only bring a smile to his face.

Captain Paul

Captain Paul is spending his third full Summer guiding in Alaska. He has spent the past two Summers fishing Southeast Alaska putting his clients on their fish of a lifetime. He has been fishing Alaskan waters since 2015 and has been running a boat since he was a kid growing up in the Finger Lakes Region of New York. He has a passion for being on the ocean and providing clients with their dream fishing adventure.
